Upon graduation in 1984, Rohaizat Bin Suradi was employed as a Quantity Surveyor with the Muda Irrigation Scheme, Drainage And Irrigation Department in Kedah until 1987. He was involved in infrastructure works such as farmroads and drainage / irrigation structures.
He was then transferred to the Penang Regional Development Authority (PERDA) where he handles various building & infrastructure works. One of the project is a new PERDA township near Butterworth. His employment at PERDA was from 1987 to 1994.
From 1994 to 1995, he was attached with the Public Works Department of Perlis as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Here he was involved in construction works such as the state palace, schools, mosque and also roads.
In 1995, he resigned from government service to join KLK Kontrekbina Sdn Bhd i.e a Class A Construction company based in Alor Setar as the Contract Manager. He was later promoted to the post of General Manager. At KLK, he was involved in two major projects i.e the Langkawi International Shooting Range for the Commonwealth Games (RM 60.5 million) and the Pokok Sena Prison Complex (RM 169 million)
Having gained enough experience and confidence, he resigned from KLK at the end of 2001 to start his own consultancy firm, ILHAM Kos Konsultan Sdn Bhd together with a partner, Azlan Bin Pawanteh.

After graduation in 1979, Azlan Bin Pawanteh was employed as a Technical Assistant with Kementerian Kerja Raya and later with Jabatan Kerja Raya until 1986, he continued his studies in the United Kingdom and graduated with a Degree in Quantity Surveying.
He then joint Kemex / Peremal, a Kedah SEDC’s Subsidiary Company as a Contract manager and later was employed to work in Taman Negara to manage the development of Kuala Tahan Resort.
In 1992, he joined Kedah Sato Sdn Bhd, a joint venture Company between Sato Kogyo Ltd. Of Japan and Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Kedah as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. He then joined a Quantity Surveying Consultant firm namely JUB Segar where he heads the branch office in Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman, as an Associate Partner.
As a consultant, he has been involved in projects of various nature and magnitude ranging between RM 1 million to 500 million namely; Bandar Aman Jaya, university campus, condominiums, shopping complexes, government buildings, mixed development and residential estates.
At the end of 2001, he resigned from JUB Segar to start his own Consulting firm, ILHAM Kos Konsultan Sdn Bhd together with a partner, Rohaizat bin Suradi.
